Fardly Terms of Use

Last updated: 4 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Mohammed Dualeh, trading as Fardly ("Fardly", "we"). By using Fardly you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

1. What Fardly is

Fardly reminds you when each prayer begins, lets you log your prayers privately, and lets you share a photo of your prayer mat (and, if you choose, yourself) with private circles of family and friends after you've prayed.

Fardly is an encouragement, not a religious authority. Prayer times are calculated from your location and the method you choose, and can differ from your local masjid by a few minutes. Check times that matter to you against a trusted local source. Nothing in Fardly is a religious ruling.

Please never use Fardly during salah. Snaps are for after salam.

2. Your account

3. What you share

You keep ownership of the photos and other content you share. You give us permission to store them and show them to the circles you choose, only for as long as Fardly keeps them (see the Privacy Policy), and only to run the service.

When you share, you agree that:

4. Keeping circles safe

You can report any snap or person and block anyone. We review every report within 24 hours. We may remove content, remove someone from a circle, or suspend or delete accounts that break these terms, with or without notice where needed to protect others.

5. Fair use

Don't try to access data you're not allowed to see, interfere with the service, copy or reverse-engineer the app beyond what the law allows, or use Fardly to send spam or automated messages.

6. The service

We're working hard to keep Fardly running well, but it's provided "as is". Features may change, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. We may end the service, with reasonable notice where we can.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Otherwise, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content other people share. Our total liability to you is limited to £100.

8. Changes to these terms

If we make changes that matter, we'll tell you in the app before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can stop using Fardly and delete your account.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to its courts, though if you live elsewhere in the UK or EU you can also rely on your local consumer law and courts.
